Candy Bar Cookies

Emily gave me this recipe and it's delicious. Peanut butter cookies with a chocolate inside!

Candy Bar Cookies: makes about 60 cookies

1 c creamy peanut butter

1 c butter, softened

1 c sugar

1 c packed brown sugar

2 eggs

2 tsp vanilla

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

3 c flour

60 mini candy bars (snickers, milky way, whatever you choose. *or cut 30 bars in half so they are small)

In a large bowl beat together butter, peanut butter and both sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda; add to peanut butter mixture beating until combined. For each cookie, shape a rounded tbsp of dough around a candy bar piece forming a ball. Place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake @ 350 for 10-12 min or until lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack. Drizzle with chocolate glaze.

Chocolate glaze: combine 1 c sifted powdered sugar and 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder. Add 1 tbsp milk. Add additional milk 1 tsp @ a time to make a drizzling consistency.
